Jan 2018 - Just out in Heredity, our response to Feliner et al.’s critique of our Evolution Perspective piece on the evidence for homoploid hybrid speciation.


Sept 2017 - New paper in PNAS on patterns of assortative mating in hybrid populations of Xiphophorus -- an on-going collaboration with former PhD student Molly Schumer and Gil Rosenthal.


Sept 2017 - Former PhD student Molly Schumer has been named a Hanna H. Gray Fellow by the HHMI! 


June 2017 - Dr. Kevin Deitz joins the lab as a postdoc. Kevin’s PhD work was on the population genetics of Anopheles malaria vector species. He will be focusing on the population genomics of the Drosophila yakuba species group.


May 2017 - New MBE paper on diversification of opsin-based

photoreceptors in Heliconius butterflies. A fun study in collaboration with Adriana Briscoe.
