LINUX DOWNLOADING AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. QVALUE runs on top of R, which is a free and popular statistical software package. Download and install R from here. We assume that any linux user can perform this installation successfully.
2. Download the R library qvalue_1.1.tar.gz. Once R is installed, the library can be installed by typing 'R CMD INSTALL qvalue_1.1.tar.gz' at the linux command prompt in the directory where the file has been saved. For more information on INSTALL, start R and type '?INSTALL' at the R prompt.
3. Download the manual (in PDF format). This and the standard R library help documentation give instructions for using the software.
